I am a communication designer with a postgraduate degree in cultural studies. I have over the years developed a profound interest in sustainable development, and believe firmly that strong communication lies at the heart of social change.
My work is informed by a rich interdisciplinary background in social psychology and political science, business administration and economics. I have a longstanding experience working with not-for-profit and third sector organisations. I served as Deputy Chair for the United Nations Association of Germany Berlin/Brandenburg, and worked i.a. for the German Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations [ifa], the London-based sustainability organisation Forum for the Future and the human rights agency Liberty.
Specialising in communications and graphic design, I have previously been involved with the Sustainable Lifestyles Research Group (SLRG) and the PASSAGE project at the University of Surrey. I am currently leading the communications for the ESRC Research Centre CUSP and the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Limits to Growth; and on a consultancy basis manage the events and digital communications for the Foundation for Democracy and Sustainable Development.
